Hawk also revealed how Selleck encouraged her to watch classic films like High Noon and D-Day to gain a deeper understanding of her character’s role as a trusted confidante.

Despite the show’s recent cancellation, Hawk spoke highly of Selleck’s continued passion for the series. She disputed rumors of his retirement, saying he is “more invigorated than I have ever seen him.”
