Fans of the hit CBS series NCIS will have to settle for repeats for the rest of the summer, but there’s good news on the horizon! CBS has already announced that the show, along with its spinoffs NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney, will be back with new episodes in the Fall 2024 season.
NCIS and NCIS: Origins will maintain their Monday night time slots, airing at 9 pm and 10 pm respectively. NCIS: Sydney will move to Friday nights at 8 pm.
While official premiere dates have not been confirmed, the Fall TV season typically kicks off shortly after the Emmy Awards, which are scheduled for Sunday, September 15th. Fans can likely anticipate new NCIS episodes to begin either Monday, September 16th or Monday, September 23rd.
This news will undoubtedly be exciting for fans of the franchise, but it’s not all good news. One of the popular NCIS spinoff shows was not renewed for the upcoming season. While this may be a disappointment, the return of three out of four shows indicates the continued popularity and strength of the NCIS franchise.
