Long Prison Sentences for Flugsvamp 3.0 Operators, Major Darknet Drug Marketplace

Flugsvamp 3.0 Takedown: Major Players Sentenced to Prison

Swedish authorities have delivered a significant blow to illegal drug sales on the darknet with the sentencing of three key figures behind Flugsvamp 3.0. Dubbed the “Block for Drugs,” the online marketplace facilitated illicit transactions for billions of kronor.

The ringleader received an 11-year and 10-month prison sentence for leading a criminal organization responsible for particularly serious drug offenses, money laundering, and accounting fraud. Two accomplices were also sentenced to substantial terms, receiving six and a half and four and a half years in prison respectively for aiding in these severe drug crimes.

Flugsvamp 3.0 operated from 2018 to 2021, generating an estimated SEK 2.5 billion in drug sales before its closure. This takedown reflects ongoing efforts by Swedish law enforcement to disrupt illegal online marketplaces and combat drug trafficking.
